Privacy

A jewellery box is a private place. Alankara treats it that way. Everything you photograph belongs to you, stays tied to your account, and is never shown to anyone else unless you ask for it.

What we hold

Your name and email address, the photographs you take of your pieces and your attire, the details read from those photographs, the stories you choose to write, and a record of what you have worn.

Who can see it

Only you. Your catalogue can be opened only from your signed-in account. Photographs are kept in private storage and served through links that expire; there is no public page, no shared family box, and no feed. We do not sell your data, and we do not share it with advertisers or jewellers.

How the reading works

To read a photograph and suggest a look, the image is sent to our AI service for that one request and the answer comes straight back to you. It is not used to train models, and it is not retained after the request.

Consent

If we ever want to use one of your photographs elsewhere — a case study, an advertisement, anything at all — we will ask you first and you may say no. Silence is not consent.

Your choices

You can edit or remove any piece at any time from its page in your box. Ask us to close your account and we will delete your catalogue, your photographs and your wear history.
