Terms of use

Alankara is a private catalogue and styling companion for jewellery you already own. By making an account you agree to what follows.

Your account

You need an account to use Alankara, and your catalogue can be opened only from it. Keep your sign-in details to yourself; anyone who has them can see your box. You must be 16 or older.

What belongs to you

Your photographs, your stories and your catalogue remain yours. You give us permission only to store them and to show them back to you, and to send an image to our AI service for the moment it takes to read it. Nothing is published, sold or shared without your consent.

What Alankara does and does not do

Ala suggests ways to wear what you own. It does not sell jewellery, recommend anything to buy, value your pieces, or show your box to anyone else. Suggestions are a matter of taste — they are offered, never insisted upon.

Fair use

Photograph only jewellery you own or are entitled to photograph. Please do not attempt to reach another person's catalogue, disrupt the service, or use it to resell or list items.

Availability

Alankara is in private beta. Features may change and the service may occasionally be unavailable. Please keep your own copies of photographs that matter to you.

Closing your account

You may leave whenever you wish. Ask us and we will delete your catalogue, your photographs and your wear history. We may close an account that breaks these terms.
